What is Vifto?
Vifto is a Maltese-based accounting software company with a full in-house creative team aimed at simplifying daily business tasks and helping you to launch your business to success.
Is Vifto easy to use?
Vifto's main mission and aim is to simplify the accounting process and to be used by anyone within a business. Therefore, yes, Vifto is very easy to use.
Is Vifto safe to use?
Yes, you can trust Vifto. At Vifto we are committed to keep your data safe as we provide multiple layers of protection to your personal and financial information. Find out more about Vifto's commitment to data protection in the terms and conditions and privacy policy down below.
Can I access Vifto from my mobile phone or tablet?
Yes, Vifto is available on all devices and you can send invoices, receive payables and manage your accounts from your mobile phone and tablet.
Can I access Vifto offline?
Unfortunatley, till this day of writing, Vifto is not available offline. You must have an internet connection as this is important to upload and download reports on Excel or as a PDF.
Which pricing plan is perfect for me?
Vifto's pricing plans are purposfully made for everyone. One pricing plan consist of paying a subscription on a monthly basis and the other to pay a yearly plan on a monthly basis. Click here to learn more about Vifto's pricing plans.
Can I pay my Creditors through Vifto?
Unfortunatley, such a feature is still in the works. However, this feature will be available in the coming months.
Can my Customers pay me through Vifto?

How do I create a company on Vifto Books?

Is it possible to configure direct bank feeds into Vifto Books?
Unfortunately, such a feature is still in the works and we will be implementing this in the near future.
For now, you can only upload accounts from excel but not any banking features.
How do I set and manage multiple organisations in Vifto Books?

Unfortunately, such a feature is still in the works and we will be implementing this in the near future.

Subscriptions
How do I subscribe to Vifto Books?
With just a few clicks, it is easy to upgrade from a trial subscription to one of Vifto's plans. Click on one of the 'Start Free Trail' buttons and login on Vifto Books. Then click on the 'upgrade' button and 'select' your plan.
Does my free trial have all features?
Yes, the 30-day free trial that is available for you to use has all the features that a basic Vifto plan has.
How do I view my billing history on Vifto Books?
To view your billing history involves a simple process. Click here to learn more.
My plan says that it allows 2 free users. What does that mean?
This means that only 2 users are allowed to use your subscription account. Every Vifto Books plan has a different amount of maximum free users that can use the subscription account and cannot be surpassed.
Can I manage multiple organisations under one Vifto Books subscription?
Yes, after you upgrade from Vifto's 30-day free trial with a paid plan, you can create and manage numerous organisations under one subscription account. If you create multiple organisations. you need to upgrade them to a paid plan individually.
How can I upgrade my free-trial into a subscription account?
To upgrade from a free-trial account to a subscription plan is really simple. Vifto automatically notifies you 15 days prior your subscription is going to end on Vifto Books itself and by getting notified via email.
Do you store my credit card details and personal information?
In accordance with our privacy policy, your credit card details are NOT stored in our data systems. Your card details entered while signing up for Vifto Books, are moved to the payment gateway in order to process your subscription renewals for each cycle.
My organisation is based in a country but the base currency is different. Can I pay using my base currency?
Organisations having this problem can pay the subscription according to thier preferred currency. Vifto's features such as currency and Tax policies are automatically updated daily in relation to the address of your organisation.

How do I mark an invoice as sent?
When clicking on the 'Post' button after finishing an invoice, Vifto Books automatically saves all invoices on its database and can be accessed in the 'Posted' windown.
Can I include multiple sales in an invoice?

How do I apply discounts to an Invoice?

Purchases & Expenses
How do I record my Expenses?

How do I mark an expense as incurred?
When clicking on the 'Post' button after finishing an expense, Vifto Books automatically saves all expenses on its database and can be accessed in the 'Posted' windown under the 'Purchases & Expenses' tab.
Can I include multiple purchases in an expense sheet?

How do I link my bank account to the expenses sheet?

How can I reverse and allocate and expense?

Can I list purchases in different currencies?
Yes. To do this simply click on the currency tab in your expenses sheet and choose the currency of your purchases. Vifto automatically is equipped with currency exchange rates which will be listed in the expense sheet prior posting.
Can I use my Payment as a template?
Yes. To do this go on the 'Payments' tab under the 'Purchases' section and click on the 'Use as a template' button next to your chosen payment.
How can I upload documents to my Expense Sheet?
Unfortunatley, such a feature is still in development. However, it will be available in the coming months.

How do I add a new bank account?

Can I import any bank statements directly on Vifto Books?
Unfortunatley, such a feature is still in development. However, we it will be available in the coming months.
Can I add more than one bank account on Vifto Books?
Yes, you can. There is no limit of bank accounts you can add on Vifto Books. Simply go on the bank management overview on, click on the 'Setup Your Bank Accounts' button at the top left of the page and then click on the 'Add a new Account' button.
Can I remove my bank account on Vifto Books?

Can I enter receipts in different currencies in my bank accounts?
Yes, you can. Simply go on the 'Receipts' tab under the 'Bank Management' section on Vifto books and click on the 'Currency' in the bank ccount details receipts row.

VAT
Can I upload my VAT documents on Vifto Books?
Unfortunatley, such a feature is still in the works. However, this feature will be available in the coming months.
Can I download my decelration history?
Yes, to download your decleration history simply click on the 'Decleration History' tab under the 'VAT Management' section on the left side of the dashboard. Then choose your closing month and choose to download a 'Summary' or a 'Detailed' version via Excel or as a PDF.
How can I change current tax rates?

If I delete VAT reports, will they effect my other transactions?
No, your transactions in the past will not be affected by deleting the tax linked to it. If you feel a tax you created is not of much use for your business, then you can go ahead and delete it without worrying about your previous transactions.
